I enjoyed my stay! The keypad lock made accessing my room a breeze, no struggles with keys whatsoever. The new mattress was a good surprise, providing the perfect comfort after a long drive. The staff's quick accommodation of my last-minute arrival really stood out, and I appreciated being able to choose my room!

The bathroom didn’t seem properly cleaned!!! Cheap furnishings gave the room a neglected feel!!! The bathtub was uncomfortably thin, making the shower experience less pleasant!!! Price felt too high for the quality offered!!!

The furnishings were so cheap they seemed randomly thrown together, giving the room an unfinished feel. The bathroom door wouldn’t stay open, and soap residue in the shower coupled with a lack of shampoo and conditioner marred the overall cleanliness. A thin bathtub meant an uncomfortable shower experience, particularly with the curtain rubbing against me. At $150 a night, I expected a bit more than a flop house vibe, especially during a busy holiday weekend.

the golden lion motel is a no-frills hotel that provides a comfortable stay. the staff was excellent and very helpful, making my experience feel warm and welcoming. it's conveniently located close to restaurants, which is a big plus. my room had a great atmosphere and was just what we needed for a night away.

Room was nice with a private bathroom and a comfortable bed. Having a microwave and fridge was convenient. The coffee machine was awesome! The mattress was new and the flat-screen TV added a nice touch. The seating area was a great bonus too!
